To the Vaughan Vikings Community:

We trust that everyone is continuing to stay safe, in what continues to be a very difficult period of time.

While we continue to be under a “stay-at-home” order all in person league activities as it relates to games, team workouts and practices continue to be suspended until there is a change in the provincial orders.

That said, we continue to plan for the 2021 season in the hopes that we can get the young athletes in the community back on the diamonds playing baseball and girls softball.

When we are allowed to be back on the fields, realistically, we will be limited in the number of players we can have in each division.  Unlike past years, the numbers will be reduced in order to comply with government regulations.

As such, if you have not already done so, please register your son or daughter in order to ensure  you get one of the limited spots.

To make it easier, we are offering a “REGISTER NOW AND PAY LATER” program.

Register between today and May 20 and reserve a spot!  Payment will be due June 1, 2021!

This will ensure a spot for your son or daughter if we are able to offer a program this summer.

Those who have already registered your son or daughter has a spot guaranteed.

Register today as space in each division in both our baseball and girls softball house league programs are limited!

With the continued closure of community centres, our office will not be open for drop in visits until such time that the city reopens all facilities.

The office continues to access emails and voicemails on a regular basis, so please feel free to reach out to us via phone, email or social media.

I urge everyone to listen to those in the medical community and do as has been recommended and/or mandated.  It is how we can do our part to help contain and mitigate the spread of this deadly virus.

We remain committed to keeping you informed and you will find new information posted on our website, social media and communicate with you via email.

We are committed to working together on precautionary measures to protect our membership and prevent the spread of COVID-19.
