Baseball Canada announced at its Fall Convention in November that Vaughan Baseball has been awarded the 15U National Championships from 2027 through 2031.

 

At the Baseball Canada Fall Convention in Winnipeg in November, Vaughan Baseball was announced as the host site of the Baseball Canada 15U National Championships from 2027 through 2031.  The tournament will bring national-level athletes and teams from across the country to Vaughan for the 5 years.

 

"We are extremely proud and excited to have been chosen by Baseball Canada to play host for the 15U National Championship for 5 years", said Dirk Drieberg, President of Vaughan Baseball.  "Being chosen by Baseball Canada to host is a testament to the great city and community we live in, and one that truly has something for all visitors and sports enthusiasts to enjoy."

Vaughan has a long-standing history of hosting Baseball Canada National Championships having played host for 10 years between 2008 and 2017, including 7 years (2009-2015) being home of the 15U National Championships.

 

"Having had the privilege of coaching in a National Championship. the host Vaughan team players and families starting with the 2012 birth year, will have the opportunity to have an experience of a lifetime", notes Dirk Drieberg.
